Jeff Hurd just got back from British
Columbia. He was on a cat hunt for lynx, bobcat and mtn lion. He
hunted hard for 6 days and on the 7th day harvested a large male lion that was 7
1/2 foot long, and a very nice bobcat. He said that the meals and lodging
were great.

I returned home from North Dakota
Sunday night with two of my clients. These gentlemen are both recently
retired from Wall Street, and man were they impressed with Dave and his
operation. They said that they had not seen that many, or that big of
birds on any hunt they've been on (SD, MT, etc). The one guy that flew in
from Boston said that even with the wonderful weather (8 below zero Sunday
morning) this was the best bird hunt he'd been on in a long time. From the
food, to the lodging, to the people, and of course the plethora of birds, Dave
and his staff continue to hit home runs.

I just thought I would email you and
let you know how the hunt went. Alex ended up killing a real nice ten
point on Saturday. We had a really great time at your lodge in
Texas. They were very hospitable and made us feel like home the entire
time. I was very pleased with the ranch and look forward to going back in
the near future. I think we are looking at getting a couple of friends
together and going back in the spring for a hog hunt.

I just heard from one of my customers
who went to British Columbia this year for a mule deer and whitetail combo
hunt. They took a mule deer that scored 206 and a whitetail that scored in
the 140's. He was very impressed with the effort and organization of the
outfitter. He said it was different style hunting than what he was used to
but he still enjoyed it. By the way, this was the largest mule deer taken
on this outiftter's property to date.
Greg Ray December 5, 2005
It didn't take the Garlock brothers
long to harvest their trophies in Kansas. The outfitter just called me
this morning and on the first day of the hunt, Marl took a real nice 10 point an
din the evening Jason harvested a good 8 point. They are pheasant hunting
today and are leaving early tomorrow to come home. They will be rebooking
for either next year or 2007. Marl saw 31 deer the first day.
Harold Eby December 1, 2005
Rich,
I just wanted to say thank you very
much for setting me up with the outfitter, it was GREAT! I shot a 250
pound bear. Saw a moose and was almost attacked by a mother bear.
Well, thanks again and if I ever go on another hunt, I will sure look you up.
Chris Kepich November 29, 2005
My client just returned from Wyoming
and had a great hunt. He said the following: I can’t say enough
about Kim Bright and his entire staff. They
worked very hard to find game everyday and ran a first-class operation.
It was the most challenging and best big game hunt that I have been on.
Greg Ray November 29, 2005
My client and his father fished for two
days for crappie on Lake Fork. Temperature was very warm and they didn't
catch any crappie. They did however, land a 10 plus pound bass and several
smaller ones. They were well pleased with the guides efforts.

Marc,
Our father and son team just returned
from Texas and had a great time. Both took good Texas bucks and 4 does
between them for the freezer. The father is 85 and Rocky was great with
helping him on the hunt. They were very high on the accommodations,
Rocky's wife Geri's cooking and the amount of deer they saw.
Jim Wisniewski November 22, 2005
I just returned from Missouri last
night. My client shot a nice 10 pointer with winds at 45 mph. It
will probably score around 130-135. Our guide was very good and the
lodging was also nice.

Had the opportunity to hunt in Montana
last month with my dad and a client. Airline delays got us in to camp late
but the outfitter was there to make sure we got settled into camp once we got in
(past midnight). Tent camp was comfortable, and the meals prepared by the
outfitter's mom were great to come home to. The guides went out of their
way to accommodate us. In all we saw well over 150 antelope each
day. All three of us harvested nice antelope.
Vit Antonacci November 7, 2005
I spoke to my clients who hunted in
Montana last week and they said everything was terrific, from the cooking, to
the guides, and the outfitter himself. One of the clients had his dad
along as an observer and they took care of him as well. Jason took a nice,
high 5x5 muley that measured 24" wide and he also harvested a huge
15.5" antelope that the guide figured would score over 80 B&C.
Jeff shot a non typical muley that measured 28.5". They said they
would definately be going back there in the future.

I talked to my guys who returned from
New Mexico on a muzzleloader elk hunt. How many times do we need to hear
how this outfitter and the guides did a great job in getting their hunters
trophy bull elk? The rut was late and they hit it right on this hunt, they
were in bulls almost every time out. Kirk's bull should score over 320 and
Joe's bull was smaller but not by much. They had 2 other hunters in camp
and one of the bulls will probably go 340.
Johnny Wellman November 2, 2005
I just got a hold of my client who
hunted in Idaho. He was unsuccessful in tagging an elk, but he said it was
by his own decision. He said they saw elk every day, the food was
wonderful, and the horses were great. He was more than satisfied with the
effort the outfitter and his crew put forth and the animals just didn't
cooperate to his liking. But as he put it, that is why they call it
hunting and not killing - that's what game farms are for.
Steve Ellenson November 1, 2005
My mule deer hunters just
returned. Ed Turner had great things to say about Craig, first rate
equipment, great food and 1000% effort. Craig had them stay two extra days
at no charge. Ed did feel however that maybe the camps should be set up
different for elk and mule deer.
Greg Ray October 28, 2005
I just had 8 customers return from
Mexico who were on a dove hunt. Richard, my main contact, said the entire
group thought it was the best trip they had ever been on. The service from
the time they picked them up at the airport to the time they dropped them off
could not have been better. They arrived on Thursday started shooting on
Friday and shot so much that four of them needed a break on Saturday, but
instead of just letting them sit around the outfitter took them fishing on
Guerrero at no extra charge and they caught a boat full of fish.
Greg Ray October 27, 2005
I just finished my goat hunt in British
Columbia and thought I would give you some feedback. They are good, hard
working folks and have some good country. I harvested my goat on the 5th
day and had some time to hunt mule deer. Accommodations and equipment were
very good. The guides and owner have a very solid attitude. The
country is very tough so clients need to be in good shape.
Al Rechnagel October 26, 2005
My customer that went to Wyoming just
left me a message and said that the lodge was a first class operation, they
worked very hard and knew their area very well. Cary came home with a
moose and elk.
Greg Ray October 19, 2005
Dear Rod and Mary,
John and I just wanted to say thank you
again for letting us join your group and see a whole new side of saltwater
fishing. Your guidance and expertise let us have a great time fishing but
most of all, you made the trip fun and exciting and relaxing all at the same
time. What a fun and friendly group of people you invited!

I just got back from New Mexico and all
hunters including me tagged out on elk. There were five of us and all were
very happy. This is a good hunt for out of shape hunters. The owners
and operation were first class
Robert Bolin October 18, 2005
I just talked to my bear hunters who
hunted in Ontario. The three hunters each shot large black bears weighing
300, 325, and 350 pounds. They were very happy with the hunt and great
fishing for smallmouth, walleye, and pike.
Johnny Wellman September 6, 2005
Marc,
Just thought I would let you know that
I had two customers come back from a caribou hunt with our outfitter in
Labrador. Even though they never saw a caribou he said they had a great
time fishing and that the outfitter was very accommodating and they would go
back again.
Greg Ray September 6, 2005
Eric,
We had a great time hunting hogs in
Florida. The lodge was set up well, the food was super and the hospitality
was excellent. Norm and I saw a lot of hogs along with a number of deer
and other wildlife. Our hunt was a blast! Thanks again for the
opportunity to enjoy a great hunt.

Dan,
We had a great time. We got 2
good size hogs and I shot one that I trailed for about 300 years then went and
got some help but we were unable to recover it. We would like to go back
with another group and would like to stay longer. Myself and my crew thank
you very much for the great time we had.

Marc,
My customers just returned from our
lodge in Texas and had a blast. The archery hunter got a two for
one: his arrow passed clean through the sow and stuck the piglet.
They were very happy with the trip (came all the way down from Michigan).
They said the service, food, and lodge were worth the trip alone. As you
can see they are ready to go on another trip next year.
Greg Ray August 12, 2005
Hey George,
What can I say....I Had a Blast!
My guides were great, the place was spectacular and the fish were
abundant. The food at the lodge was amazing. If I can afford this I
will make it a yearly event. I had a nice fight with a 42 pound king,
still strong and up for a good battle, had to chase him downstream for a while,
but I finally landed him and then got to watch him swim off after a nice thank
you for the battle. Worth the whole trip. I probably landed 100
beauties in three days, and they all got to swim away.
Aina Kane August 10, 2005
My Dad and I returned from Ontario
Saturday, and although we don’t have any record fish to brag about, I can’t
say enough about this place! We had some tough weather (mid 90’s, 30+MPH
wind, thunderstorms, etc.) but it was a great trip. Perry and his wife
Carol, along with their crew (Scott, Cory, Jeff, Becky, Helena, Julie) stop at
nothing to make sure you have everything you need. They are there to cast
you off when you head out in the morning, and waiting to tie you back up to the
dock when you get back. We had Perry guide us one day, and we caught
several walleyes for a fantastic shore lunch. The food was AWESOME!
Carol is one heck of a cook. Steaks, spaghetti, turkey, ham, pancakes,
eggs, (you get the point.) Cabins are spotless, and so are the boats.
The batteries charged and tanks are fueled every night. The attention to
detail by everyone up there is impeccable. We did see quite a few huge
muskies,
but apparently they were just showing off and weren’t hungry. One guy in
camp did land a 49” while we were there, a couple of 40”+ pike were caught
too.
This was the most fun and relaxing trip I think I’ve ever been on. As I
said, they take care of everything. My Dad is a pretty tough customer, and
he was really impressed by the level of service that everyone up there gave us.
Even though the fishing was tough, he wants to go back in ’07. I would
definitely recommend this place for their absolute 5-star service, food, and the
fishing opportunities are endless (even with 4’ swells)!
Steve Ellenson August 8, 2005
Just back from Panama. Unbelievable trip. Charli
caught her first black marlin as did I. Scott's tuna fed the village for
weeks. I can not say enough about the trip except that we are ready to
move!
Trey Smith August 8, 2005
Hi Rich,
We had a very enjoyable trip. We
caught six marlin, of which two were blue marlin, one sailfish, one dorado and
forty-six tuna. We released the marlin and sailfish. The biggest of
these was probably six feet and others around five feet or so. All in all
it was a great fun trip. We also took a tour of Cabo. All the staff
were very courteous and helpful.

Just got back from fishing. Everyone had an
amazing time. Even the wives reeled in marlin and boy are they hooked on
fishing now! We caught 9 marlin and 6 sailfish all but one marlin was
released. We also caught 19 tuna all small for that area but fun none
the less. The rooms were great and the food was as usual awesome.
Everything went without a hitch and was worry free (as a vacation should
be). Thanks for your help.

My four customers just returned from
Costa Rica and had to call me to tell me what a great time they had. They
said they were treated like royalty and never wanted for anything. They
caught all kinds of fish including a 20 pound roosterfish. They caught all
kinds of jacks, dorado, barracuda, pompano, snapper, mackerel and grouper.
The only complaint they had was that they served too much food and that the
Bloody Mary's were so good they had to drink them two at a time.
Greg Ray June 24, 2005
Marc,
Ken Cowell, one of my bear hunters that
went to Idaho is back. Ken had a great hunt and was treated wonderfully.
He was there for four days and saw 12 bears. On the fourth day he took a
6'6" black bear. Its skull measures 18" and weighed between 370
to 400 pounds. Ken is already talking about going next year. The
most impressive part of this is that he is disabled and has
diabetes.
John Green June 21, 2005
All three of my customers were very
happy. All three harvested nice bears and they caught all the fish they
wanted. Lou Dieke said to use him as a reference and that he is going to
go back next year. My other two clients raved about the food and about
what great host Fred and JoAnne are. Based on Lou and Scott's experience I
already have 4 more clients to sign up for next year.
Greg Ray June 1, 2005
Marc,
Just getting back from Manitoba and it
was totally awesome. We caught well over 200 fish and at least 10 over
30". The biggest pike was 41 1/4. The largest walleye was 23
1/2 and the largest smallmouth was 17 1/2. This is a very good place to go
and thanks for recommending it. Very nice place to go! Fred said
hello!
Dave Selenke May 31, 2005
My client just returned from his
archery grizzly bear hunt with our new outfitter in Alaska. While he did
not take a bear, they saw several. They started a day late due to some
high winds, and when they got there the next day, a large grizzly was consuming
a caribou right in front of the camp. However, due to the regulation of
not being able to hunt on the same day you fly, they just had to sit there and
watch. A few days later they came across a large (9') sow that had three
cubs in tow, another un-huntable bear. All in all, he had a great time,
and the guide that he was with never stopped trying to accommodate the
client.

The hunt was everything you said it
would be, and more. The staff at the lodge in Idaho was more professional
than those found at a destination hotel. The food was great, the guides
very professional, and game was everywhere. I highly recommend these fine
folks and want to thank you again for delivering what you promised.

Marc,
Our two Bear hunters returned from Saskatchewan this
weekend with words of praise for the outfitter and the hunting.
This was a father and son, both adults with the father having just
completed a course in chemotherapy for cancer. Leona and Gordy at
NP were extremely considerate and genuinely liked hosting the two.
Jeff, the son took a very nice chocolate Bear while
the father missed an impressive large black bear the last evening.
Both had seen Bears daily and the father had passed on several good
bears as years ago he had taken a pretty good one and wanted something
larger. The level of service,
hospitality and the excellent hunting were praised by both.
"The deer were everywhere, plenty of bears, waterfowl were amazing,
and the food was excellent, we want to return," were some of the
comments. Another quality outfitter
that has delivered for us again. We will be directing our clients that
want a great Saskatchewan hunt to them in the future.
Jim Wisniewski May 23, 2005
My customers just got back from their
black bear hunt with Craig in Idaho and had a great time. All three
hunters harvested bears thanks to Craig's hard work, he let them stay two extra
days and used his dogs (which is normally $1000 more than a baited hunt) so they
could all harvest bears. Darold said Craig worked very hard and was very
accommodating. They would recommend Craig for any kind of hunt and plan on
going on a cat hunt with him next year
Greg Ray May 19, 2005
My buddy and I went up to visit Dave
this past weekend to do some ice fishing. The fishing was a little slow,
walleye and pike were hard to come by, but we managed about 50 8” to 11”
perch-boy were they tasty!
While there, I simply could not believe
the number of birds and deer that we saw. We scared up about 75 deer out
of one patch of woods. The pheasants and grouse were all over the place,
he has several sections of CRP that held enormous amounts of birds. Look
right along the horizon on the picture, and you can see the number of birds that
flushed out of one of the sections. It’s not the Hilton, but his
bunkhouses and lodge really do have a lot of character that would be appreciated
by most hunters.
We spoke about how to get more clients up there for him, and came up with
this-He would like as many franchise owners as possible to see his place, and
will accommodate them for free with groups of 4 or more. He will also give
wives/kids a deal, although we didn’t discuss this at length.
I think we should try and get a group of us franchise owners up there sometime;
we would have a hell of a time! It’s great; you can even play blackjack
at the local bar.

Dear Larry,
The staff in Alaska took wonderful care of us.
Also, the food was fantastic! I got sick the first day out with only Dramamine
so the outfitter "discreetly" left some neck patches for me...that did
the trick and I was fine for the duration. We caught tons of fish and both
took our limit of king salmon. We have been eating fish continuously since
coming home and can't decide which we like better...salmon or halibut...it's
whatever we're currently eating! So much fish...160 pounds that we had to
run over the American and pick up a chest freezer. A wonderful trip.
I will say this, on a five star basis this is a six star resort.
Vicki and John February 22, 2005
Tracey,
My client hunted mountain lion with our outfitter in
Idaho on January 20th. The first morning they found some tracks and let
the dogs loose. An hour later they had a huge tom treed. My client
Todd, took him with a bow. Todd mentioned he was impressed with the
outfitter's dogs. On their way back in the afternoon they found more
tracks and decided to let the dogs tree another one for training. My
client said he saw a lot of elk in the outfitter's hunting area. Todd was
really happy with his hunt and wants to go back and hunt there again. He
had his cat scored and it is going to be Pope and Young.
Steve Gerntholz February 21, 2005
Marc,
This is the client who deer hunted last fall with our
outfitter in Nevada. Ron, the outfitter, felt bad about him not getting a
deer so he had him back at no cost for a lion hunt. The cat he took
weighed 140 pounds and was six foot ten inches long. Jerry, the client,
has nothing but good things to say about the outfitter for both deer hunts and
lion hunts. I think anyone we send there will be very happy.
Jim Wisniewski February 3, 2005
Dear Howard,
It takes a lot to impress me. I want you to know
your package trip for me was IMPRESSIVE! In fact, after traveling all over
the world, participating in many fishing vacation packages, for me you are the
BEST. The accommodations were very comfortable - the food was superior to
other camps - excellent, knowledgeable guides gave me "the fishing trip of
a lifetime!" We caught an average of 25 fish each morning except on
the day I beat the record of 101 fish caught in one day set by President George
Bush, 41. That day I was joined by camp manager. After a total of
approximately 5 fishing hours, a new record of 110 was set. At least a
Texan holds the record. The entire trip was so enjoyable - I'm looking
forward to going back next year.
